Mr. Ernst Wastl, Austrian collector and owner of the Ernst Gallery Budapest bought the life-sized cow sculpture called ‘Milky Way’ decorated with more than 13.500 pieces of Swarovski crystals at a charity auction on 2 October 2007 in the Four Seasons Gresham Palace Budapest Hotel for a record price.
MANOOI is inspired to embark on projects, requiring the creation of lighting solutions for complex huge spaces. Moha was designed exactly for such purpose – underlining the high-end profile of the client’s company by placing the bespoke crystal light installlation in the stairwell.
Manooi chandeliers were featured in a unique design fair in Vienna – Home Depot, which lasted from March 12 to March 16, 2014. The event is Austria’s main design fair, taking place annually at a Semperdepot, an enormous 19th-century building in the very heart of the city.
The 52nd edition of the Saloni closed on an extremely positive high, with the over 2,500 Italian and foreign exhibitorsat the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, SaloneSatellite and the biennial Euroluce / International Lighting Exhibition and SaloneUfficio in the global spotlight from 9th to 14th April.The figures: 324,093 visitors overall.
