Manooi Designer Creates the LOSZ Interior Designer of the Year 2025 Trophy

The professional winners of the 2025 Interior Designer of the Year competition, organized by LOSZ – the National Association of Interior Designers of Hungary – received a truly special commemorative trophy this year. The award was designed by Manooi's talented young designer, Máté Héder, whose concept transformed the values of the profession into a refined and symbolic object.

“It is a great honor for me to have been able to contribute to this outstanding project as a Manooi designer. Having graduated from MOME with a degree in object design, I felt that I could perfectly apply my experience to the design process of this trophy.

The shape evolved from the LOSZ logo, which I elevated into a spatial object—much like how a completed building emerges from a floor plan. As a designer, I was looking for a material that not only serves the form but also brings it to life.

When creating the Interior Designer of the Year Trophy, my goal was to design an object that would symbolize the professional excellence represented by LOSZ: transparency, precision, and timeless elegance.”

AGC Glass Hungary provided the special, crystal-clear glass needed to realize this sophisticated design. The trophies were manufactured at the Alexy Üvegtechnika factory in Orosháza.

The result is a contemporary design object that embodies both architectural thinking and artistic expression—an award that celebrates not only achievement but also the creative spirit of interior design.

The official award ceremony of the 2025 LOSZ Interior Designer of the Year competition took place on February 25, 2026, at the Luminis Architectural Lighting & Design showroom, where Manooi designer Máté Héder was also introduced during the event.
