Like a good fine wine, wood just gets better with age and never seems to lose its beauty. Designers of Lichthalle AG created a warm, stylish interior design using wood and natural light. Our Iceberg crystal chandeliers can create a special atmosphere especially with natural light.

Manooi chandeliers only are made with premium-quality crystals: full-cut octagon pieces specially carved to recall the look of diamonds. This special cut helps to absorb natural light and to create the incomparable sparkling effect that only a crystal can provide. Its optical traits can break down visible light into spectra, resulting in colour combinations like the rainbow. We use various sized crystals to give a streamlined shape and an airy effect to our lighting creations. As a final touch, we decorate the chandeliers with various shapes and styles of crystal pendants.

Our Iceberg chandelier resembles a glistening hemisphere. Technically speaking, Iceberg is one of the most intricate and advanced chandeliers. Manufactured in the Manooi atelier, Iceberg comes in 32 different sizes and shapes to accommodate every architectural space. Thanks to its flexibility, it looks gorgeous in a cluster or on its own, too.

We are proud to be present in a luxury apartment design in art deco style by SimmenGroup, a team of market leading professional designers for prestigious new buildings and renovations in Switzerland and abroad.

The art deco style, which above all reflected modern technology, was always characterized by smooth lines, geometric shapes, streamlined forms and bright, sometimes garish colours. Initially a luxury style using high quality materials like silver, crystal, ivory, jade and lacquer.

Light ivory, beige colours of the furnitures, carpets define the friendly but elegant  style of the appartment. The bright colours are enlivened by the golden accessories are typical. Crystals not just ideal or fit into this interior design but essential. Our ROSE modell have been choosen to enhance the atmospher in the dining area.

ROSE originally was designed as a bespoke light creation for a high-end medical cabinet, Rose’s popularity among Manooi’s main clients and partners secured its place in the Manooi portfolio, as part of the Crystalight Collection. Its harmonious shape, symbolising happiness and positivity, accounts for its popularity.

When it comes to colours, it is always worthy to play with different shades, colours, sizes and forms of crystals to reach the wished harmony.

INFINITY at the Common Space Exhibition

Common Space | 2nd National Salon of Applied Arts and Design 2022

 

208 artists came together during the first Salon of Applied Arts and Design in 2017 in the Műcsarnok (the Budapest Hall of Art) in 2017, showcasing the latest developments in the Hungarian art scene. Now, at the second Salon exhibition, with more than 300 members in attendance, 10 branches of art will share a ‘common space’. Ranging from post-industrial design to the most recent works of autonomous studio art, from objects of everyday use to fine art experiments. Artists from four generations have contributed their works, from doyens to exciting up-and-coming designers. The exhibition is in the curator András B. Szilágyi’s theme, the “International Year of Glass 2022”.

MANOOI is proud to present a very special crystal light creation in the Műcsarnok at the 2nd National Salon of Applied Arts and Design 2022. The concept was to show the “Form of Time”. Seen from below, our INFINITY model forms the number eight, or a Lemniscate when viewed from its side. The infinity symbol signifies the concept of limitlessness or eternity, especially when used in mathematics and or when talking about the feelings of true love.

This contemporary chandelier symbolizes empowerment and everlasting beauty, with its dynamic form and through the power of never-ending loops. Allow the shape of this exclusive lighting solution to bring an artistic touch to your interior design project and set its playful and spirited design to bring a lasting effect to any setting.

The exhibition invokes Aristotle’s 10 categories to invite guests on a contemplative tour through the different objects at the exhibition and invites them to freely take in their surroundings. It shows two diverging paths along which the displays, which were realized in the past five years, can be enjoyed:

Common Space exhibition

One leads guests from design-focused forms and materials to the realms of the shapeless and the abstract, while the other route  invites guests on a journey from strict functionalism to autonomous art. Along these paths, visitors can walk from ceramics, the most ancient art, reminiscent of the birth of human civilization, all the way to the realm of virtual reality to give visitors a glimpse of the future. Although the displayed areas of art are distinct, being spatially linked at the exhibition, they present a continuous process. The mixing of different branches of creativity coupled with the two conceptual journeys creates inspiring crossroads, with new qualities and connections emerging at the meeting points.

DEEP SKY at Villa Weinberg

MANOOI is  proud to be part of a stunning restylishing design project with one of its most popular crystal chandeliers. DEEP SKY is an attempt to grasp the infinity of space, composed of crystals augmented by their own reflections. This endless mass of twinkling stars is only visible from below, within the solid mirror box structure concealing a sparkling multitude.

This restylishing, modern interior design by Martinuzzi Interiors in magnificent property located on the hill of Erlenbach, overlooking Lake Zurich. The brief of the client entailed the restyling of the property to add substantially to its market value. To that end, the villa needed to be brought up-to-date and revived. Martinuzzi Interiors prefered to draw attention to the fact that “Restyling” is in high demand on the real estate market, because it combines a modernisation with a renovation concept & planning using the technologies of renders and video renders.

The main challenges were to find the perfect color palette that would contrast and at the same time harmonize the built-in furniture with the flooring, all realized in the same American walnut wood. The combination of warm and cold grey colors with the brown/orange existing elements highlights the re-modernization adding a refined taste. The concept intelligently embraced also the existing Asian design elements and colors giving the villa an original and sophisticated new look.

For the dining area of the villa, they continued the harmony with the different shapes of grey color. The texture was enriched by a luxury Anguilla leather wallpaper in different areas of the Villa. The lighter warmer grey was used for the entire interiors walls of the villa. The final result is a feeling of living with style and Harmony. The future furnishing of those areas will be completed by the wish of the client. This is the area where the interior design and the athmospeher was completed with a stunnng black covered, DEEP SKY crystal chandelier.
