LINEA at the Villa Pietra Nobile

The restyling of this villa consisted of a bespoke color and material that reflects both the modern architecture and aesthetic of the villa but also adds a touch of elegant luxury. In most of this villa’s divisions, the harmony was carried out with different shades of the color grey, by Martinuzzi Interiors. The villa has a luxurious interior design with a very relaxing atmosphere provided by the nature surrounded.

MANOOI‘s LINEA crystal chandelier have been designed to enhance the atmosphere of the space it is placed in. LINEA fits the villa’s spacious dining area perfectly with its regular shape. There is also a little extra sparkle in the contrasting harmony of the light and dark colours of the interior like grey, beige and black. Due to the contrast of colours crystal sparkle is even more recognizable.

LINEA is a rainfall of light with sparkling drops of crystal. Like an endless crystal curtain, this stunning crystal chandelier is striking in its length. Various lengths of crystal rows give off the effect of a continuous flow to the chandelier. It is frequently installed in rectangular, narrow spaces such as corridors or passageways, but is also an ideal choice for suspending over a counter to highlight any interior. This time LINEA highlights one of the most important spaces of the villa, the dining and sitting room area.

INFINITY IN THE BUDAPEST HALL OF ART

MANOOI was proud to have been present at the 2nd National Salon of Applied Arts and Design 2022 with a very special crystal light creation. Two hundred eight artists first came together during the first Salon of Applied Arts and Design in the Műcsarnok (the Budapest Hall of Art) in 2017, showcasing the latest developments in the Hungarian art scene. Now, at the 2nd Salon exhibition, which took place this year, more than 300 members were in attendance, and 10 branches of art shared a ‘common space’. The concept was to show the “Form of Time”. Seen from below, our INFINITY model forms the number eight, or a Lemniscate when viewed from its side. The infinity symbol signifies the concept of limitlessness or eternity, especially when used in mathematics and or when talking about the feelings of true love.

INFINITY – THE INFINITE GLAMOUR

We produce our crystal chandeliers in our very own workshop using traditional artisanship. This classic technology allows us to create one-of-a-kind lighting creations. They are unique pieces of art that add immense character to the scheme. Its never ending loops awake the power of the infinity and due to this it symbolize eternity, empowerment, and everlasting positiveness.

The 2nd National Salon of Industry and Design at the Műcsarnok (the Budapest Hall of Art) on Hungarian designers’ most exciting works. One of the most prominent participants of the exhibition was the MANOOI crystal chandelier manufactory, whose co-owner and designer Judit Zoltai was interviewed.

We are proud to be present at the HELLO HUNGARIAN DESIGN stands surrounded by many talented designers of furniture and accessories. The most prominent representatives of the interior design and design profession were presented in meticulously designed interiors. Among these inspiring stand of the S/ALON BUDAPEST, MANOOI was presented with its more classic collection style chandeliers, RIO from the Crystalight Collection. And for the contemporary design lovers we presented two crystal chandeliers, ORIGO PULSAR, HANABI and FINELINE from our Personal Universe Collection.

Luxury apartment on the East Coast in Florida features a stunning sea view

This stylish apartment has a real personal touch since it was designed by the owner herself and Lights of Venice. In the large sitting room there is plenty of space to fill with designer furniture and accessories. The challenge was to fill up the large space proportionately with light, to highlight its stunning sea view. The designer was looking for a specific crystal chandelier to occupy the space in the sitting room area.

The POLARIS crystal chandelier has several different sizes to choose from, so the designer went ahead and arranged that the area accommodate three different sizes and then hung them at different heights. Every piece of the interior design is well-planned, personal and creates harmony while using light pastel colours. The large windows provide a stunning sea view and lots of natural light.

Manooi crystal chandeliers are only made with premium-quality crystals: full-cut octagon pieces specially carved to recall the look of diamonds. This special cut helps to absorb natural light and to create the incomparable sparkling effect that only a crystal can provide. Its optical traits can break down visible light into spectra, resulting in colour combinations like those of a rainbow. The elegant luxury apartment with spectacular view, including our LOOOP crystal chandelier model was designed by Austin Chai and managed by Louvre Casa Hangzhou. 

A preference for circular shapes is deeply ingrained in all of us from birth. As a modern version of one of the most ancient forms, the omnipresent circle, LOOOP is a majestic crystal chandelier. Its application is generally recommended for interiors where it has the space to create unparalleled harmony between light and space. LOOOP crystal chandelier need space to become alive due to its majestic dimensions.

Our LOOOP model can be installed on its own or in different sized clusters. The suspended crystal circles can provide an airy flying effect when it is installed into spacious spaces. We use various sized crystals to give a streamlined and an airy effect to our lighting creations. As a final touch, we decorate the chandeliers with various shapes and styles of crystal pendants.

BIRTH OF A BESPOKE LIGHT CREATION

 

Experts of MANOOI always like to push their own boundaries. Manooi’s standard crystal chandeliers can be personalised as bespoke light creations to provide for differences in personal taste and to best complement the styles and colour schemes of the interiors in which they will be placed.

A special project took place in the soon-to-be the new Manooi atelier. Its extrem,  500-square-meter, 13-meter-high hall provides a generous space for our bespoke crystal chandeliers. Our unique size FJORD crystal chandelier debuted in this special interior. Its extreme height needed the generous space provided by the Manooi atelier.

Manooi’s quality control procedures ensure that production undergoes a rigorous inspection process so that each lighting creation meets and exceeds the highest standards. A special area of the workshop is dedicated to the design of Manooi’s bespoke chandeliers and to product development. Our expertise lies in creating fully customised chandeliers and other magnificent bespoke light creations. Creating a 6 meters high bespoke FJORD crystal chandelier was a very inspiring project for us, so much so that it needed to be shown to our audience.

Light is a piece of art and when it plays with crystals, it just recalles the elegant moves of a graceful balett dancer.

ONCE THERE WAS A TEXTILE FACTORY IN ÓBUDA

The Goldberger Textile Factory operated in Óbuda for two hundred years. The founder, Ferenc Goldberger, opened his blue painting plant in 1784. In the 19th century, the small company developed into a large textile factory, so successful that even Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Sissi visited here. After the World War II, the factory was nationalized and began to decline. Following the change of regime, production decreased permanently in 1997. But the buildings still stand today. MANOOI has found the creative energy it has long been looking for in an impressive building complex in its thousands of square meters of ruins to create its magnificent crystal light creations.

“At MANOOI, creation is an integral part of our day, so it was important to find a place to expand our production of crystal chandeliers where we could also expand in space. We are in the area of ​​the factory’s old energy center, where was the boiler house. The special atmosphere of the place, its vast spaces and its unadulterated industrial atmosphere make the hall such a creative powerhouse that the flow of creative energies is almost perceptible. ” – Judit Zoltai (CEO, designer)

The 500-square-meter, 13-meter-high hall still functioned as a boiler house at the time of the textile factory. Just as the factory functioned as an energy hub at the time, so will MANOOI’s creative energy hub.
