MANOOI – AMBILIGHT GATHERING OF DESIGNERS

MANOOI’s showroom hosted a gathering of industry partners whose aim was to introduce the company’s profile and chandeliers to the design profession in Hungary. MANOOI’s long-term partner Ambi Light invited leading designers and interior architects from Hungary to embark on an exciting design journey. Guests gained insight into the company’s history, from its inception to the present day. They got the chance to meet one of the founders of MANOOI, designer Judit Zoltai, who provided an abundance of inspiration. They were also introduced to the birth of MANOOI’s luxury crystal chandeliers and got acquainted with the various components, technical details and characteristics of the crystals it employs in its creations. The designers in attendance had their eyes opened to the versatile use of crystal chandeliers through inspiring and prestigious design projects, a true introduction to the MANOOI universe.

MANOOI chandeliers only are made with premium-quality crystals, due to the complexity of their manufacture. The chandeliers are made with full-cut octagon crystals with special grindings to recall the cut of diamonds. This special cut helps to absorb the natural light and to create the unique sparkling effect that only crystal can provide. We use different sizes of crystals to give a streamlined shape and an airy effect to our chandeliers. As a final touch, we decorate the chandeliers with various shape and style of crystal pendants.

Alongside transparent versions, and our nine standard colour combinations, we are ready and able to create custom colour combinations as an element of your bespoke chandelier.

Among ZZ Architect’s vast and admirable portfolio there’s a project that stands out: a decadent seaside 3500 square feet apartment with marvellous views that features Maison Valentina as one has never seen it before.

Regarded as one of India’s leading architecture and interior design studios, ZZ Architects, founded by Architects Krupa Zubin and Zubin Zainuddin, have provided extremely high-end and bespoke architectural and luxury interior design services to its clients, always personalizing their experience according to the client’s lifestyle requirements. In this is a unique sea facing apartment with a spectacular view of the famed Mumbai ‘Queens Necklace’ coast, a bespoke Manooi chandelier, a VOILE D cluster got place in the master bedroom.

The VOILE D is a special version of our VOILE crystal chandelier, made of brass chain. Its harmonious shape  reminds us of the waves of the ocean or the sea. With its LED light source, it is the focal point of the interior.

The Master Bedroom

The view has been strategically considered while creating the luxurious master bedroom. Notice the defragmentation of the typical bathroom layout by positioning the shower cubicle as a cast glass finished enclosure almost in the middle of the space. The main master bed from ‘Roberto Cavalli’ takes centre stage and is aligned perfectly to reveal a stunning view of the sea and the skyline across. Every individual piece of activity is planned in the master bedroom suite keeping in mind an experience and comfort oriented point of view.

This typical four bedroom apartment has been totally redesigned to ensure that the space feels like a flowing volume. The elegant contrast of material finishes and their emotive response as one traverses through the space is what completes the home.

Color is a fundamental building block of interior design. Color psychology is the theory that colors can affect how you feel, think and act. 

A vivid colourful living room design was created by Rakesh Ambasana & Associates, in Ajmer, India. In the living room area an ARTIKOI crystal chandelier got place next to Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors and Fendi furnitures, in matching colors with the inteiror.

The place came alive by the vivid colours of the interior and ARTIKOI became the focus point of this luxury interior.

BESPOKE OZERO IN THE MANOOI HEADQUARTER

The headquarters of luxury light fixture manufacturer Manooi is a very special place on its own merits. If the unusual exterior of the Neuschlosz Villa continuously surprises visitors as they enter through its massive, heavy wooden door which opens up to reveal an archaic wooden staircase, they are stunned when they look up to see the opulent, bespoke sized OZERO crystal chandelier showing off its dramatic size and appearance.

It’s a fixture with a reputable pedigree. The 180 cm-wide chandelier was specially designed and manufactured for the 2013 EUROLUCE exhibition in Milan. At the 52nd edition of the exhibition where it made its debut, more than 2,500 Italian and foreign exhibitors and thousands of visitors had the chance to see this magnificent sparkling giant for the first time.

Our bespoke sized OZERO is a stylish combination of classic and contemporary design, combining the popular Iceberg shape full of crystals with a contemporary, streamlined and curved upper hemisphere. The refined shades of this contemporary pendant lamp are available in various colour solutions, while the crystal adornments can be customised in multiple colour variations.

The 5-star superior hotel enjoys a unique location on top of the Mönchsberg, a hill in the centre of Salzburg. It is surrounded by a large park and offers panoramic city views, an outdoor infinity pool, and an outdoor hot tub.  

A castle perched high atop a hill in the middle of Salzburg, Austria, the Hotel Schloss Mönchstein is an opulent, classic hotel that delivers old-world elegance interwoven with outstanding, modern standards of design and comfort. Offering a wide range of elegantly furnished rooms that are intimate, inviting spaces offering breathtaking views of the city, the resort complex includes an exclusive lounge and restaurant housed in a glass dome, a spa area including a sauna and steam bath, and ample grounds which provide an impeccable setting for weddings or other special events. 

In the context of such classic settings, it’s no coincidence that Manooi’s modern-yet-elegant LOOOP models were chosen to illuminate the castle hotel’s main dining area, Restaurant Schloss Mönchstein, where guests bask in classy, tasteful surroundings while enjoying the delights of the Michelin-star cuisine they are served. Interstellar in its appearance, the several LOOOP models suspended within the Restaurant providing a dazzling luminescence to the eatery’s atmosphere, foreshadowing what diners can expect there: an exquisite culinary experience.

OENO in a luxury bedroom in Dubai

We are proud to be present in the defined luxury project by Hiral Jobalia Studio.  In this project through the use of nsmart space lines, high grade materials, and artistic decoration. The client’s brief was to design a space that would be incredibly attractive and epitomise global luxury standards. HTS Interiors did the fit out using a smart blend of materials, colours and textures. The furniture in this villa shapes creates an endearing, snug charm. Lighting, too, plays an important role in terms of adding aesthetic value to the decor, along with technically sound, general lighting through automation.

The biggest challenge for this project was the MEP & HVAC, which was overcome by intense planning. The main highlight would have to be the Maze Light by Windfall from Germany that plays a dramatic role in the living / dining area. Cosmati Mosaic and Glass floor by Sicis in the entrance lobby area creates a dramatic mandala pattern leaving quite an impression.

In the bedroom a stunning OENO crystal chanderlier have been placed to enhance the athmospher . Designers found a perfect balance between the interior colors and our OENO crystal chandelier. Its light colours reflext to the interior while creating a relaxing atmosphere.

ARTICA – the first Manooi chandelier

It’s like a star up in the sky that hypnotizes you with its radiant beauty. The centrepiece of any space, our elliptical ARTICA model chandelier looks best above dining room tables, in living rooms, or in just about any place where it is allowed to define a space. As an element of exquisite interior design composition, it boldly shows off its strong character and can really animate a room – completely changing it by adding a classic elegance. 

Inspired by classic chandeliers in an archaic, old-world shop, MANOOI’s ARTICA reinvents the genre by having no identical cross sections. In fact, the lamp has a dynamic fluctuation to it, which our designers intended. This means that from every angle you look at it, it’s like a statue – exhibiting harmony, but also giving off a welcoming warmth.

ARTICA is so emblematic that MANOOI approached Swarovski to come up with a crystal stone specifically mimicking its shape; today, it’s a company trademark of sorts, as one of these custom-designed crystal pieces is featured on every MANOOI chandelier.

A star is born

ARTICA not only looks stunning, we also have great affection for us as it was MANOOI’s first lighting creation. Its designer, János Héder, says his objective was a lamp that had some sort of directional dynamic within the space – a front and a back. He also sought out a form that had a deep harmony, where the inner and outer contours shared the same line. With a strong belief that people love pebble-like forms, he was convinced they were onto something.

After coming up with numerous drafts, he showed it to his wife and MANOOI co founder, Judit Zoltai, and she told him which version was best. He says she “nailed it”, and they assembled their first mock-up of ARTICA in the cellar of their home.

Grand introduction

ARTICA made its fabulous debut at a Milan design show in an exhibition booth, which was a partially open space. János Héder recalls the objective was to come up with lighting that would really catch people’s attention and lure them into the booth. He says he didn’t want to install something totally classical, because that’s not what the show was about – but he also didn’t want it to be too modern. Visitors swarmed the booth in Milan – ARTICA proved a smashing success!

With a very serious aura and staying power, ARTICA has been MANOOI’s bestseller ever since. What’s more, the company’s co founders, Judit and János, are still so fond of their luxury chandelier, they even have one hanging in their home.

 

 

Timeless Classics. Villa in Russia

The luxurious weekend house in Russia, implemented with our partners Severlight, is a fine example of design in classical style. The marbles, woodworks, and furniture are brought to life with the flickering shining of crystal chandeliers from Manooi. Tons of sparkles makes this luxury villa absolutely unique.

As you enter to the classical style villa building a bespoke size Rio crystal chandelier welcomes the guests. RIO crystal chandelier demonstrates the effect of gravity in space. Rio is asymmetry combined with the perfect regularity of the circle. It is the chandelier of choice for those desiring a twist on the everyday symmetrical forms.
